Members of the class of 1968 Pulaski Senior High School New Britain, CT
After the fantastic time had by all at our 40th Reunion, please mark your calendars for late June 2013, the projected 45th's get-together timeframe. Hopefully we will have even more attendees this time around with this much advance notice. Planning is expected to commence by January 2013 to firm up the date, time and place.

I have so many wonderful memories with Barb. We first met when she lived a door away in the projects. I remember being so upset when she told me her parents bought a house and she was leaving the projects. As it turned out she only moved down the street. She was always the smartest and prettiest of our group of friends. I was so proud to always be in her company. We did so many things together becoming so close during our Pulaski days. Double dating, going to proms together, spending time with other Delpha Cap sisters. I remember running away from home in 10th grade, where did I end up but at Barbara’s house. The true testament of our friendship came when we were each others maid of honors. I moved to NY shortly after and our friendship was left to letters and phone calls. I remember the day I received the call in 1980 letting me know that Barb was in a terrible car accident. Although life would never return to her as she knew it she never let on that her life had changed. When we spoke there never was a complaint, we talked about old times, movies she had seen or planned to see, books she had read, what a great cook her sister is and most recently how much she enjoyed her grandchildren. Never a complaint. As a teen Barbara was the one person that I wished I was more like. She was my best friend during those high school years. Oh the things we did together, the trouble we got in and out of all great memories. When I think of growing up Barbara is always a part of those memories. I thank you Barbara for so many great times together. You will forever remain my best friend and the one person that I most admire. My thoughts and prayers continue to go on for you and your loved ones.
Your greatest admirer and friend,
Pat Dezi Altadonna
So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I also remember her living right next to Patti, and the two of them always being together. I remember one particular Halloween when she was a "flapper" ( I think we all were). She was so beautiful, we could only imagine looking like her. She had an elegance and grace about her that no one else had. She sat behind me in Bookkeeping class, and we enjoyed many long conversations. Last time I saw her was at our 25th reunion - she was still beautiful and elegant. My condolences to her family and close friends - she was truly a sweet person.
